Fig Tree Pocket home styled to sell
Polishing a gem to make it shine
Unless you’re invited to a private viewing, you may never have a chance to discover this unique property nestled in bushland close to the Brisbane River. Even driving past the front gate would only give a glimpse of the jewel within.
That’s why the owner of this hidden gem invited Showhomes to make it shine against other homes for sale on the market. Jayne knew that professional styling would take her home to the next level in price and presentation. Here’s what her vision has created in just over one week from Initial Consultation to Show Ready…
Initial Consultation
A useful, busy dining area (photo taken on stylist’s phone)…
Becoming more peaceful within a few moments during the initial consultation
Subtly transformed to showcase it’s architectural features during the photo shoot
The owner prepares for the makeover by reorganising and packing and enlisting tradespeople for repairs and maintenance, window cleaning inside and out, gardening and landscaping and house cleaning.
Photo Ready Makeover
Monday 10am Makeover begins with some simple yet stunning changes
Jayne and Tracey from Showhomes decide to start at the front entrance making it more open and welcoming
Tuesday 3pm Bulk of internal and external transformation complete
Wednesday 2.30pm Photographer arrives
… uncovering a jewel.
Creating Welcome
The Showhomes team set to work transforming the home in readiness for the photo shoot (photo below taken on stylist’s phone)
A beautiful entrance area welcomes you
Rearranging the client’s furniture to highlight the best use of the space
Designer pieces create an interesting feature together with florals for added visibility
Meanwhile downstairs, practical living one day takes on a new life the next
Great furniture and home design are combined for beauty and livability
Living the Dream
The eclectic style is harnessed
And coralled, becoming understated elegance
The open plan kitchen provides an outstanding canvas requiring few changes
Presenting at it’s best and still being family functional whilst on the market
Allows the family to live and work around the makeover
Flexible and easy to implement styling and storage solutions
Combining comfortable living with show readiness
For outstanding presentation that’s buyer ready
At an hour’s notice
The Sleeping Zone
Maintaining ‘show ready’ bedrooms with a mix of family members from child to adult
Creative, easy to implement solutions and teamwork make it possible
For guest rooms too
But it’s all worth it to attract the right buyer
The kids love their made-over rooms
Vibrant artwork completes the picture
A change in styling invites freshness
Into a Child’s world
The Outside Story
It’s important that the outside of the home
Reflects the standard of the internal makeover
Reinforcing the lifestyle that attracts the ideal buyer
Even with a beautiful home, Jayne didn’t want to leave anything to chance in such a competitive market. Showhomes’ efforts can help attract more potential buyers, higher offers and a much quicker sale.
Watch this space for the sale results when available.
Showhomes would like to thank and acknowledge the genius of Antony Merat (artiste and ‘afters’ photographer); Paul McCann (‘befores’ photographer); Judy Dalozzo (original artworks); Cheri Lee (stylist) and Nathan (Floral Images), for their contributions and creativity.
…and thank you Jayne and family, for allowing Showhomes to shine your stunning gem.
